i have no problem in theory but i am currently playing an ungodly amount of hours a day so the opportunity would be small

Works really well, but i do have some suggestions. First if your hanging on to cannonballs and repair kits etc, it doesnt deposit them and pauses the bot instead, i believe it should deposit repair kits and cannonballs when the inventory gets half full or something. Second it takes way to long to hop worlds, it sits there 1.5 ticking running back and forth for like 5 minutes before it chooses to hop. With those updates this would be great!

It drops them by default, you've modified the drop list to not drop them I believe. I don't understand what you mean by world hop. If it is salvaging a ship then it is salvaging a ship, having two alive next to you makes no difference the hook only targets one

@michael5555 working so good bro :) great work, crystal extractor it amazing!
Have you any plans to make a barracuda bot? Gwenith Glide is literally mind numbing...literally, not an expression I am genuinely falling asleep eyes open mid run completely zoning out and forgetting what I'm doing for a minute. That can't be healthy lol

- only suggestion I have is maybe 'banking' any cannonballs in cargohold?

I think I'm happy with the state of the bot, I've added some things to improve crewmate assignment - I didn't realise we could assign while working ourselves, so we can save 4 ticks there.

As for barracuda trials, it is something I will likely look at but not anytime soon, spent the last week on this damn boat I just want to bot for a little bit now

Banking cannonballs I don't like, just decide not to drop them instead. You will waste so many ticks opening cargo hold and exiting...
Incase you weren't aware there is a setting to tick the drop list and assign your own items to drop, though you'll have to list them one by one

Yes I took them off the list because i wanted to keep them, but the script doesnt allow for storing them inside the cargo hold is what i was getting at. However it would be nice to be able to keep the repair kits if we wanted to keep them. The world hopping thing possibly was a user error on my part, it kept warning me saying my boat was not in range of a salvage ship and i think my positioning was bad so sometimes it couldnt hit the ship so it would pause and take awhile before trying to hop. You shouldnt waste to many ticks btw depositing since on the cargo hold there is a quick deposit option so it skips opening the interface.

The cargo only has limited space - which if you're using crewmates will fill up with salvage that the bot will withdraw to sort.

The logic to deposit repair kits IFF the user is not using crewmates in my opinion is too prone to bugs to be worth implementing in a bot like this

An alternative approach if you needed that many of a repair kit would simply be to make them. I have a free chopping bot you can use to obtain logs, the only supply that may be out of reach for an ironman would be coins to convert the logs to planks

@michael5555 fair enough, you've doone a great job with the script. However you know there is an option to quick store cargo which will deposit everything that can be stored inside without opening any interface. Just in case you decided to add that option.

not asking btw, very happy with what you've provided - just mentioning it because you stated the tick loss of that action.

It's the cargo getting full which makes it not worth doing. I'd need some justification. Personally I've used the repair kit maybe 4 times in total, I can't see a reason for somebody to want to keep 100+ of them

I agree with you on the repair kits, I just usually deposit my cannonballs so I have an extra couple of spaces in my inv for salvage. it’s a very minor thing though.

Ah! Yes understood. I am happy to look at that for you. Sorry I forgot you were coming from the cannonball angle and not the repair kit angle

I realized that they dont stack inside the cargo space after I replied lol that's my bad sorry and definitely makes it not worth hanging on to them lol. So neither of my points are really valid. I do like the idea of possibly storing the cballs tho as the other guy mentioned.
