It's definitely possible, but slightly more complicated than it sounds to add the logic to the banking, ui setting, spell, etc. Honestly the main thing is that you're the first person to ever request it as far as I'm aware, I don't think this is a popular method on ironmen due to how important stamina pots are for it (otherwise you're going to chug energy pots like crazy)
Thanks for mentioning it. I was looking into this earlier, and tbh I was kind of just hoping jagex would fix the issue since it's technically a game bug (or unintended change). I'm not actually sure the best way to handle this, I guess as you mentioned luring east is possible with some teleports?
