The message "Could not connect to the server. Please check your firewall settings" appears when i try to login, but my firewall and antivirus is disabled. Can anybody please help me?
Please clarify, is this occurring on the RuneMate client or RuneScape client? If the latter, seek support from Jagex directly.

Please remove all RuneScape, RuneMate and Java installations. Restart your computer Install RuneScape Install RuneMate and let it automatically install the correct JRE. Then see if this occurs again.
Do you mind sharing what you did to fix it? That way other users with a similar issue can try what you did.
i was using a Wi-fi repeater that somehow blocked the runemate client, now i'm using a different router.
