Struggling with red salamanders, ive got 60 hunter and it is only setting up 2 traps getting around 20k xp/hr ive reset cache any ideas? Have tried reseting it several times aswell Was fine with orange salamanders but wont do more than 2 traps on red
Are the traps close together/within range? You can set the "trap within" radius for salamanders which will only use traps within that tile radius of your starting point
i have changed it up to around 30 and its still only getting the 2 in the middle that are close together
Honestly I'll probably have to take another look at this bot soon. It's possible there's some weird bug, I made this bot a long time ago. Sorry that it's giving you trouble

Silly question but what happens when I'm out of waterskins for orange salamanders? I guess I'll find out when I wake up xD
The bot doesn't really specifically "support" orange salamanders. I think it might still hunt them fine, but I've never tested it on them. I imagine it'll eventually run out of waterskins and die, and then (hopefully) the bot stops when it can't figure out where it is. But like I said, I made this bot a long time ago and didn't really add any specific logic for oranges.
Yeah I died, ran for as long as possible before dying though, I figured this would happen. Your bots are amazing btw, I always check for a Cuppa bot when botting now Never let me down so far.

Wiki rates are always pretty overly-optimistic, you can do it manually for 5-10 min and average that out over an hour to see realistic rates. That being said I've had a hunter rewrite planned for a while, so this entire bot should be rewritten soon to make it more stable and ideally faster. Just haven't had the time lately to do it yet.
One annoying bug happens when you want to change location, using the 'Reset Settings' button doesn't clear/reset the starting position and tries to run back to the original starting point, forcing a bot restart if you have just levelled up to catch a new salamander. Other than that, stable bot
