Hello and welcome to my Woodcutting guide.

    Table Of Content:
    1. What is Woodcutting?
    2. Why choose Woodcutting?
    3. 1-99 The fast method
    4. 1-99 The money-making method
    5. WoodCutting tool
    6. Tips and tricks

    1. What Is Woodcutting?

Woodcutting is a skill that involves players chopping different types of trees. Trees can be located everywhere in RuneScape. Woodcutting is the most popular skill to train as the skill can be quite relaxing since there's no danger of dying and it's possible to AFK the skill.
More info about WoodCutting can be found here: Woodcutting

    2. Why Choose Woodcutting?

Why choose Woodcutting to be your next skillcape? Well, as stated above training Woodcutting can be quite relaxing, there is no danger of dying. On top of that, training your Woodcutting level can make you a nice pile of cash. If you take the money making way to 99, you'll average about 200k cash per hour. The fast way to 99 however gives far less profit. (You still make profit from cutting Ivy as the nests that fall out of the trees might contain expensive seeds.)

    3. 1-99 The fast method

Okay now we'll start with the actual training. I advise you to claim your very own Bronze Hatchet from Bob in Lumbridge. Bob is the store owner of the Lumbridge Axe Shop. You can also buy a Steel Hatchet there, wich we will need later on. All other Hatchets can be bought in different stores, but it is advised to just buy them at The Grand Exchange.

    [IMG]1-15 Woodcutting
For level 1 to 15 Woodcutting we will cut normal trees. Normal trees are located everywhere in RuneScape. Evergreen and Dead Trees are also considered as normal trees. You can drop these logs or bank them.
Some good locations for Normal trees are:
    - The Grand Exchange in Varrock
    - The road behind Lumbridge Castle
    - Behind the Draynor Village bank
    - West of Edgeville

    [IMG] 15-30 Woodcutting
After gaining 15 Woodcutting we're moving on to Oak trees.
Oak trees can be found on a few locations:
    - East of Draynor Village
    - South of the Cooking Guild
    - South-west of the Varrock west bank

    [IMG] 30-68 Woodcutting
Now were going to chop some Willow trees.
Willow trees can be found at these locations:
    - Barbarian Assault
    - Port Sarim.- Rimmington
    - Catherby
    - Seer's Village
    - Lumbridge

    [IMG]68-99 Woodcutting
Congratulations! You made it to the last stage of this guide. Unfortunately this part also takes the longest. Around Level 68 you'll get 55k exp per hour, around 80 you'll make about 70k exp per hour and at 95 you'll hit 80k exp per hour. Also, it is advised to pick up the nests that fall out of the Ivy, as they can contain expensive seeds.
    Locations to chop Ivy are:
    - The north wall of Varrock Castle
    - South-east wall of Varrock Palace
    - North wall of Falador
    - East end of the south wall of Falador
    - South East of Taverly
    - East wall of the Ardougne Church
    - North side of the north wall of Yanille
    - South wall of the Castle Wars-Castle.

    4. 1-99 The money-making method

Now for the money-making way to 99. I must warn you that altrough this method leaves you with a lot of profit, it can take very, very long. First of I advise you to claim your very own Bronze hatchet from Bob in Lumbridge. Bob is the store owner of the Lumbridge Axe Shop. You can also buy a Steel Hatchet there, wich we will need later on. All other Hatchets can be bought at The Grand Exchange.

    - South of the Cooking Guild
    - South-west of the Varrock west bank.

    [IMG] 30-45 Woodcutting
Now were going to chop some Willow trees.
Willow trees can be found at these locations:
    - Barbarian Assault
    - Port Sarim
    - Rimmington
    - Catherby
    - Seer's Village
    - Lumbridge.

    [IMG] 45-60 Woodcutting
Were moving on to Maple trees now.
    Locations of maple trees are:
    - Seer's Village
    - North of McGrubor's Wood
    - West of Sinclair Mansion
    - Miscellania
    - Daemonheim Peninsula resource dungeon

    [IMG] 75-85 Woodcutting
From now on, the real money will start to run in, I advise you to start chopping Yew trees at level 75, though you only need 60 Woodcutting. Since there are a huge amount of locations to chop Yews, i'll give the popular ones:
    - Next to the Varrock Church
    - North of Varrock Castle
    - South of Edgeville bank, inside the ruins
    - South of Seer's Village
    - West of Catherby under the Beehives
    - Picastoris Hunter Area. (only useful if you've completed The Deadliest Catch in order to bank.)

    [IMG] 85-90 Woodutting
For level 75-90 were going to cut Magic trees I really advise you to use a Dragon Hatchet at this stage as it may be very slow. I advise you to start chopping these at level 85, but only level 75 is required.
    Locations for Magic trees are:
    - Varrock Sewers resource dungeon
    - Tree Gnome Stronghold
    - Sorcerer's Tower
    - Ranged Guild
    - Mage Training area
    - Isafdar (not very popular due to the high quest requirements.)

    [IMG] 90-99 Woodcutting
This last stage is where the real money is made. The logs that come from this tree are worth roughly 3,8k each and you can cut an average of 100 logs. leaving you with 380k profit an hour. The special thing about these Elder trees is that after 5 minutes of continuous chopping, the tree is depleted of branches and becomes unavailable on all worlds until it regrows which takes roughly 10 minutes. It's advised to just pick 3 easy to acces locations for you to switch between while trees regrow.
All the locations for Elder trees are:
    - North of the Legends' Guild
    - South of Yanille
    - North-west of the Gnome stronghold bank
    - South of Draynor Village bank
    - North of the Falador farm
    - South of Varrock
    - South-west of Lletya
    - Piscatoris hunter area
    - South of Edgeville
    - South of Melzar's Maze

    5. Woodcutting tools
For Woodcutting, you obviously need an Axe (Hatchet) to chop down the trees. At higher levels, you can wear better axes. If you do not have the required Attack to wield one, but do have the required WoodCutting level, you have to keep the axe in your inventory. When you have multiple axes in your inventory, you will automatically use the best one you have. All the different axes are listed here with their levels.
    [IMG]Bronze Hatchet
    Level required: 1
    [IMG]Steel Hatchet
    Level required: 6
    [IMG]Mithril Hatchet
    Level required: 21
    [IMG]Adamant Hatchet
    Level required: 31
    [IMG] Rune Hatchet
    Level required: 41
    [IMG]Dragon Hatchet
    Level required: 61
    [IMG] Inferno Adze
Level required: 92 Firemaking, 61 Woodcutting and 41 Mining
Note: It is not advised to use the Adze when doing the money making method as it burns logs instantly when cut.

    [IMG] Lumberjack clothing
A full lumberjack outfit gives 5% bonus exp when woodcutting. The outfit is obtained during Temple trekking
    [IMG] Legendary lumberjack Aura
This aura gives you a 15% higher chance of cutting a log
    [IMG]
    Beaver (Summoning)
    Level required: 33 Summoning
The Beaver boosts your Woodcutting level by two, allowing you to cut faster.

    6. Tips and Tricks.
Training Woodcutting can take quite a while and can be very boring at times. You can also train Woodcutting using minigames, minigames are more fun than just clicking on trees, therefor its a good idea to try out these minigames when you get bored. Two minigames that give loads of Woodcutting exp. are Sawmill Training and Jadinko Lair.

I remember when ivy came out I just went hardcore on it until 99.
It's not the most profitable way, but it's definitely the fastest.

Your [REDACTED] is very very good, but not all information are included. I think moneymaking on woodcutting should be described too.
