Hopefully you uninstalled all previous Java installations, and then installed 32 bit Java.

Judging by this post over on the troubleshooting thread that is pinned at the very top of this sub-forum, you probably don't even have to install 32 bit Java. Just remove all Java's, restart, reinstall RM and give it a go. If that doesn't work, then reinstall Java 32 bit. Even if it does work however, make sure to reinstall Java :)

On OSX you can use an x64 JRE.

OP - Re-install an Oracle JRE and then RuneMate.

Likely a firewall issue - we communicate with the game client via your network card, so the likelihood is that the socket is being blocked. Make sure you're running both RM and RS as admin.

Im a little slow with computers how do you run programs as admin on a mac? The setting on my computer say the firewall is off so is it even possible that thats the issue?

Honestly I'm not familiar with OSX whatsoever, I was basing my response from the message in the exception.

@Cloud might have an idea, though.

I'm having the same problem on Mac. I've tried reinstalling all my Javas and there's no such thing as running as admin on Mac.

I mean in theory you could run as root but yeah having looked it up I wouldn't have thought it'd make a difference.
