OSRS Hacked cause of runemate?

Wasn't runemate.. But why didn't you activate 2fa on your rs account?

I suppose I got hacked by Microsoft seeing as I got a virus that I downloaded, but since it's Windows, it must've been Microsoft right?

 

The fact alone that you first accuse RM of hacking you, followed by saying how the guy said it was someone on our forum, who has never posted or been active for months hacked you says it all.

First and lastly, by saying that "The guy said it was posted on some form , his name was izde" you acknowledge that it wasn't Runemate that hacked you, but rather someone else.

Next time enable 2FA, have a different password for different websites/apps/logins, don't share you info with anyone, don't download anything you aren't familiar with or that doesn't have a reason for you to trust it

You can't log in to runemate if you didn't activated 2fa afaik. So check your email - or whatewer you use - it might be compromised. Remember where have you been using same login\password as in your email. I'm 99.99999% sure it is not runemates fault.

 

Dont bot on accounts worth a lot thats your first mistake. Botting is illegal so take the consequences. I have been in gamehacking since 2010 and believe me I got hacked/banned in multiple ways but not runemate. Dont find illegal ways of playing games or accept the consequences of everything. The second tip I can give you is NEVER take 1 password that is alike your emails/facebook etc. There are a few things sketchy in your story and it looks like you have been trying botting on multiple ways/forums if I am correct? On every of those clients/forums you gave your passwords. If they are somehow a match with your username on runescape or email its an easy job to hack you.

If you get hacked one week after trying out that new bot you've found, it's the most obvious thing to blame to be fair

Why would they risk reputation for 100m the devolpers are known in the bot scene for years
