Jagex says no matter what they can detect botting. How so, and is there any way to circumvent this?

We don't know exactly what Jagex does to detect bots. There are theories.

The only way to circumvent getting banned is to not bot.

You always risk a ban when botting, regardless of how careful you are.

It's definitely a bluff to prevent people from using bots. But I've been botting 16 hours/day for the past year and have never been banned. It's a F2P account too botting the same skill over and over until it hits level 99 before switching to another skill.

Not too sure this is accurate information you're sharing.

It's a mixture of things, but we can only speculate as to what they watch on the server-side. The client itself has been reversed every which way, so we know what raw data the collect, just not how they use it.

I just started botting on my 2 year old account that I haven't touched in a while. Went from wc 47 to 60 and got banned. How lucky are you! lol

It would depend on where you're botting, if people are reporting you and they will obviously investigate reports for botting.

It would also help if we knew what bot you used that got you banned, it may have issues with it and spam clicking an item and stood there for 5 hours clicking an item that brings dialogue or something yano.

It's random, but the most common thing is how long you run them for, not many people are going to clean herbs or run rooftops for 24 hours a day without a break, also the patterns will be similar to other people using the same bot. Just mix it up but you're neve 100% safe.

The biggest cause for bans is using extremely popular free scripts bots.
    And also account being new.
