Has anyone botted during DXP weekend and didn't get a ban? The account I'm using has never been banned and it should be relatively safe to bot during DXP weekend, but I just want to be sure. I'm only planning to train 5 different skills to 99, and will only be using 1 bot to train 1 skill. The rest will be done by hand because there are no bots here that are fast enough to train it efficiently during DXP weekend.
There are rumors that on dxp weekends more accounts get banned, but that's logical if you think about it because a whole lot more people are using bots. In my opinion it does not differentiate from regular days.
Imo u can bot much longer on dxp weekends. This is cuz most legit players play A LOT more than their usual play time so it looks normal to play a lot. I personally played legit for like 44 hrs during double exp weekend when i enjoyed rs.
I think this is true. I will also try to bot longer during DXP weekend, since a lot more players will be playing during this period.
Hmm... so some say I shouldn't bot for long hours and others say I can bot longer than usual. I think I just won't bot. The only reason why I'm botting is because I need sleep lol, but sleeping during DXP weekend is XP waste. Oh well... it's better to be safe than sorry. Thanks everyone!
People just say don't bot long hours as a general rule of thumb. Yuki's definitely right that legit players play a whole lot more during dxp, but ultimately who the hell even knows if jagex ramps up their bot detection on dxp. Just bot the same amount you usually do.
Dude i have been botting a fuckton on dxp weekends since about 4 periods, gotten 99 herblore 2 times which required about 20 hours bank standing, prayer, crafting. All those activities where you might think jagex watches more heavily than at other times.
So do thousands of other bans but that doesn't mean it's because of the DXP weekend. Also consider that on DXP a lot more players are online, meaning the bot detection software is running crazily even without an increased attention to detail.
well I botted more in the last dxp weekend and nothing went wrong, cuz If i'm a normal person i'd more than i'm used to when it's a normal day. xD
Why would it be any safer or any more riskier? lol what kind of question is that. Obviously it's still risky but worth more to bot on dxp weekends.
