So if you're a complete moron like myself You've gone an updated your account to be migrated to the new "Jagex Launcher". and now you can't login normally.. The "Username / Password" Phase... Well have no fear, after much stupidity and nearly throwing my toys out of the window... I bring you a fix, IT IS BY FAR, NOT AN ELEGANT FIX, BUT IT WORKS. Step 1; Go to your C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\RuneLite Create a new folder, (Backup) Drag EVERY File, except the config file, (You can make a backup of that too though), Once you've done this, you'll now want to go to where ever you installed RuneMate, Move EVERY file over to the "RuneLite" file in the above filepath. Rename the "RuneMate.exe" to "RuneLite", leaving the Jar file as RuneMate. Now load the Jagex launcher, switch the client to "RuneLite" in the dropdown menu. B00m > Bobs your uncle, It now works again, no need for a user or password
Nice, you are getting the 'Play Now' button on RuneLite still though? Hopefully have this fixed within RuneMate to be able to login soon
If you've merged your account with Jagex Launcher, you can no longer use the standalone RuneLite client, Nor the others, You can only use the Jagex Launcher. This again, Is just a temporary fix, I don't know how RuneMate could bypass this, as its not something they'd have a plugin for, as you need to login via the launcher thats the only way the game lets you login once you've merged the accounts.
Yeah I’ve started working on altering the api to handle the login from launcher, so keep your eyes open for it

im a pleb with moving files around so i cant get it working :/ really hope they fix this is an update soon
huh? was just saying... It's literally Drag an Drop... You can't be that inept that you can't drag and drop. I apologise if you took offence. If you want, I can hop on teamviewer and do it for you..
does this still work? i tried this and it starts the bot, but doesnt actually log me in from the main screen of RL (using launcher, so just clicking the button)
Yeah, IT still works. Literally all this is doing is making the RL think that Runemate is RuneLite. So when you press play, It loads RuneMate, instead of runelite, You then just go to the load a bot and select > RuneLite It will then load RuneMate.
As someone who doesn't understand computers that much, is this all the same for mac? can't find any .exe files etc
