What's the exact error message? When does it occur? Before/After login? Only when attempting to start a bot?
as soon as i click login i get a green bar up top telling to restart to auto-update or click to manually update. ive tried both options and neither have fixed it. even tried resetting my PC and i still cannot go past the login screen

If you're using the exe im not sure why you're getting that error but if you download the installer directly from the website it should work
yes, I've managed to get through the login and fixed the error message. turns out my firewall was blocking the update so i had to allow the file to update.
Glad you fixed it. Interesting that downloading it from the site and running the installer didn't fix it for you...
