Hello people, I've decided that I wanted to take the whole OSRS botting a little more serious, I only came back to OSRS about two weeks ago, in that time I tried Powerbot, Dreambot and RuneMate. Only RM hasn't gotten me banned within hours yet. I'm currently running a fairly small setup, just to see how things work out and if a larger operation could be viable. Setup Using VMWare & PureVPN (up to 5 clients). I have 4 cloned images running Windows 8 64-bit, PureVPN, RuneMate and OSRS, I use a different country for each account (but stick to that country). Progress I've been botting about 4 days now in this fashion (no bans yet). Goals Moneymaking. All accounts are currently f2p, but I intend to make them members through bonds. Account 1: WC & Fletching Account 2: WC & Fletching until member, then Slayer & PvM goldmaking Account 3: WC & Fletching Account 4: Fishing & cooking Feedback As I mentioned, I'm completely new to OSRS botting. I would really appreciate any feedback relating to more efficient moneymaking, botting setup, .. I'm also taking note of every bug I encounter in a detailed manner, in order to give back to the community and make everyone's botting experience a little better.
Botting on f2p, without any quests done will get you banned early. Consider doing few quests atleast on those accounts to make them look more legit.
Looks good. Nice test. Few questions: 1. Where did you get a copy of VMware (Workstation Pro i'm assuming) 2. Why Windows 8? Would Windows 7 be less resourceful for a VM? 3. Why PureVPN and what is the cost? EDIT: What RuneMate 'membership' do you pay to have these bots running? I'm very new to this. Thanks for sharing.
Good luck you made the right choice using RuneMate, every other site is either flooded or has large flaws in the way the bots are run causing bans to be much quicker.
Good luck to you! Starting in F2P can be a drag as making money isn't easy at all. I do recommend what has already been mentioned to do a few quests, at least to get 7QP so you can trade and use the GE.
