I've had this problem ever since I first downloaded and started to use Runemate.

I have random problems with my client.

    Problems are following :

    - I start the client and enter my username and password for the client itself. It starts to load but when I get to the login screen to the actuall game all turns black and program freezes and I have to close it down.

    - If I don't get the problem above , everything works fine until I get into the game world. Everything lags so bad, it's not even playable.

I'll have to restart the client over and over again until I don't get any of the problems above. It usually takes around 3-10 tries before it works like it should.

One thing I noticed though, is when the " auto setup " graphics comes up when I load the client it usually works without any problems.

Anyone know why these problems occur and what could cause them?

Have you tried removing your Jagex Cache ?
Have you tried cleaning your Java Cache ?

Also, what OS are you on ?
    Windows or MAC ?

You should also consider cleaning your PC using CCleaner, or better yet Advanced SystemCare.
Also make sure you got the latest Graphical drivers installed.

I'm using several cleaners and virus protections, which I run on daily basis. So I don't think that's the problem.

Computer has the latest and newest graphics driver installed.

I will get back to you when I tested with the caches.

No. Only one Antivirus program that's running all the time. Others are just extras, anti spyware programs, etc. Which I manually run

You should also run RuneMate in debug to find detailed info about any issues.
But try the Jagex Cache removal firstly please.

First off all, put RuneMate.jar on your desktop.
Simply open up notepad, and paste in the following:
    Code (Text):
    1. java -jar RuneMate.jar
Save this as RuneMate Debug.bat on your desktop.
[Make sure when saving you've selected Save As> All Files]
Then simply run the batch file, and try to run a bot.
Make a screenshot of the debug dialog, and post it here.

Sounds like a graphics issue. Try to update the drivers from the vendor's i.e. AMD's or nVidia's website, not Windows Update.
