So, are they just taking down the download link? Or is the client still operating. Like can i get a java client download file from someone else and bot like normal? Or is there just no more RS3 botting as of right now?

The exact closure date remains TBC, but we expect this to happen by the end of 2019.
As long as the user has either osrs installed (the official client) or a prior rs3 legacy installation, it'll work fine for the time being. A lot of guides are outdated now though.
I just found this site and program today 11/11/19 and I cannot run any bot due to java being gone. I only play rs3 and I use the nxt client but I cant use the bots without the java client. any idea on the time frame for when this will be fixed or adapted? @Cloud
If you already have the client on your computer, you should be able to continue using it. You just can't download it from the RuneScape website (eg: on a new computer).
Hey @American Express - I've been having an odd issue on macOS Catalina where the client doesn't find the RS client. Any idea what's happening here?
