    I have been using RuneMate for a while now without any issues. Today I did an Avast scan and noticed it detected RuneMate as a threat.

    Could somebody please explain to me what that .class file is and why it has been detected as a threat/java exploit. Thanks.

    That file should be something to deal with the error reporting i believe. Like the description of a null pointer

    @Arbiter send Avast a nice harsh email would you? :<)

    @OP, it's a false positive.

    Oracle Security Alert CVE-2013-0422
    Code (Text):
    1. These vulnerabilities are not applicable to Java running on servers, standalone Java desktop applications or embedded Java applications.
    False positive of an exploit that has long been patched and isn't applicable to RuneMate anyway xD
