Resolved RuneMate.jar not opening in Kali Linux

    I've downloaded the RuneMate.jar client from the website and tried to open it in Kali Linux and was unable to do so. Support would be greatly appreciated.

    We only support Java 8.

    So would I need to upgrade Java on kali linux to version 8?
    Here is the error log in terminal however:
