So I just downloaded after a friend told me to try it out because they updated it. so I download it and logged in to an old account I had. but when I finally made everything work it said I used all my hours? look at my stats and nothing. thought it was a bug so I made a new account and the same thing happened.
I'm on a vpn right now if that makes any difference.

So what you mean to say is that you had an account, exceeded the 200 hour limit. You then tried to VPN and making a new account thinking you could get around the 200 hour limit.

Can you show us a screenshot of www.runemate.com/services/stats/ on your old account?

    @Arbiter

I've checked and he doesn't appear to have any usage hours on record for this account or the account for which he shares an IP. Can you investigate?

Actually, can you also send me the name of the other account?

Your IP has already used up its 200 hours. If you're trying to get around the system, stop now so we don't have to ban you permanently. If you're not, then stop using a shared IP.

Having the same issue where it is saying I have used all 200 hours, although the usage stats show other wise.
I read that some say to let it sit for about 30 minutes, however it's been about 5 hours as well as a computer restart and still no go.
Only thing I can think of is that my brother also uses RuneMate, and perhaps combined we've hit the 200 hour mark, but I wouldn't think our hours would combine being on separate computers with separate accounts?
Any help is greatly appreciated :)

I am no tech-guru, so I am not 100% sure, but I didn't think 2 computers could share an IP address? I will have to ask if he is getting the same notification when I see him later on, though. Thanks for your help! (y)

    You use computer 1
    Your brother uses computer 2

Both computers connect to your modem/router.

Your modem/router has one external IP address, eg: 123.45.67.89

From the internet's point of view, both computers 1 and 2 have the same IP (123.45.67.89).

This is right, and @KemnitzD100 you're right too. Two devices on the same network can't have the same ip address, however when you leave your network to go online, your external ip is used to identify which modem(Your houses internet connection) to send data to. The packets that your programs send to the modem (to go on to the internet) contain information to identify which pc on your network the data came from. Hope that makes sense.

A friend of mine who works in IT explained it to me earlier today, makes total sense. And my brother did have enough hours for us to combine for the 200 hour limit. We both upgraded our accounts, now things are working solid as per usual.
Again, thank you for the help - problem solved :)
