I played RS as a kid but not since, what do I start and what kind of botting should I do to ensure my account looks legitimate?

What is considered a recommended bot when you start doing slayer tasks?

Personally I would recommend Alpha Fighter.

Just change the target NPC each slayer task.

Make sure you don't bot the same skill for too long, even if you take breaks, for example you you botted WCing for 3 hours a day for 2 weeks you're more likely to get caught than if you changed skills more often, do some quests, play normally etc...if the script bot you use looks like it has too many gliches don't use it.

P2P botting seems to be easier to get away with, particually in OSRS.

And if you will be bothered losing it, don't bot it.

This is true. But I disagree with "botting wc 3hrs/day for 2 weeks". I've been botting 6-10 hour days doing WCing with no bans at all. Other accs: Mining, cb training, fishing, agility etc etc.

I think what matters is how the bot acts human-like. And of course, try to baby sit.
