Patience is key. However, people should slowly start selling energies above market price in order to bring prices up. They'll eventually sell, but it would take longer due to lower demand (higher prices). tl;dr botters manipulating prices
Feel free to buy them from my directly, for 5% more than what i can get by selling them for 142gp ea.. no matter if i sell 100k or 1000k, i can sell them all within an hour for that price. If i had to wait to sell anything 5% higher than what it's worth, i'd just flood the market with expensive energies that nobody would buy - keep in mind, not everybody has a 5 acc setup x)
I don't play rs3 anymore. Anyways, there are people willing to buy above that price due to limit (not brilliant energies though). That way you wouldn't really affect the ge, but still maximize profit. This is how I made some extra cash, especially during 2x weekends.
Yeah, i sell both incandesents and brilliant and if i don't sell at the market price, or a few gp lower - then i won't be able to sell them faster than i can farm them.. which is a nice problem to have, but still a pain in the ass.
I'm thinking about levelling my bot account to get Invention unlocked, then mass disassemble maple logs for them simple parts to make divine charges, which will probably sell faster than energies.
