I just got a 2 day ban on my account.

Funny enough I have not botted on this account for over a month. I have been using runelight and playing A LOT legitimately the past week. Today alone I completed 18 quests.

Is there a delay between when they mark you for macroing and actually hand out the ban?

There can be a delay and it's random. Jagex mentioned years ago that they sometimes delay bans to confuse botters.

    Personal experience - 1 to 3 days
From what I've heard - up to a week

My main account was being botted since late 2015 - early 2016 and was banned last year after being inactive for many many months
