For anyone seeing this thread in the future, this was briefly discussed on discord and it looks like it was due to the antivirus blocking Runemate from connecting to OSRS.

Might make a big post. I got a new windows computer yesterday to go with my mac, been struggling till seeing this. or a mod doing it
