I’ve run into a ton of problems with the Hunter Rumours even with constant supervision, the script is unreliable and often unusable.

Travel / Quetzal
The script almost always chooses standard teleports (Ardougne, Varrock, Civitas illa Fortis) instead of using the Quetzal, even when both the standard and enhanced Quetzal are in your inventory. As a result, Quetzal travel is completely ignored.

Beginner & Adept rumours
Beginner and Adept rumours are heavily bugged. The script tries to place multiple traps at once, fails to pick them up, forgets where traps are placed, and frequently breaks its own task logic.

Trap handling
Traps are often handled incorrectly. The script places them wrong, leaves them behind, or just fails to manage them. Pitfall traps are particularly inconsistent.

Banking
Banking behaviour is broken. The script frequently withdraws a full inventory of food, empties hunter pouches, and repeats this after every task, creating endless and unnecessary banking loops.

Health & survivability
The script often fails to eat on time and lets the player die even when food is still in the inventory.

Supervision required
Even with supervision, the script doesn’t work reliably. I had to manually train Hunter to level 72 because the script simply couldn’t handle the tasks properly.

Overall
There are so many bugs and logic issues that it’s hard to list them all. The script feels completely broken rather than just having a few minor issues.
It’s especially disappointing because there used to be a supported Hunter Rumours script that worked really well. This current one doesn’t come close.

I recently added a lot of failsafe if it can't find the items it needs to start. As for the pouches i will adjust when it should empty them. Thanks for letting me know about this!

You are completly right about this and im sorry about it. While i was refactoring the other parts i forgot that i messed this up and it won't eat in time or at all. This will be fixed while im refactoring the Pitfall traps!
Chal did indeed have an amazing rumours script. Thats what im trying to make but i delivered a half finished bot. Doing this did highlight a lot of bug i still need to fix and im working on them. Thanks for all the feedback u provided, I will be working hard to make it run flawless. Hope u can have some patient to watch this become something close to what Chal's hunter rumour was. <3

At the moment I’m using tuna, set to 4. I also noticed that the rune pouch isn’t recognized or seems bugged, so I have to pick up and fill it manually.

For box traps, a tip that might help: choose your trap spots manually and place them where creatures are most likely to appear.

A few feature suggestions that might be useful: adding a bury bones option, an option to chisel Sunlight/Moonlight Antelope antlers into bolts, and allowing a fletching knife instead of a normal knife, if possible. I don’t want to be pushy, and I know I don’t have insight into how everything works behind the scenes, but I thought sharing my experience might help.

A couple of these feature suggestions already came up in my discord. They will be worked on but im currently focusing on making it more stable and getting those small bugs out before adding new features. <3

Hey can u send me the logs for this? As i cant reproduce this issue (make sure u have all the hunter item supplies u need before starting the bot). I will refactor the very simple pathfinding im currently using.

im insure how to private message if easier message me mate , thanks great concept so far
Having the same issue of spamming bank over and over.
I have added more verbose loggin for banking logic to find the issues better aswell as a softstop if it fails to withdraw anything. I hope the small fixes in the new update will make these issue mores clear.

It gets hung up doing tropical birds at feldip hills. It tries to place the trap in an area that it cant be placed and just spam clicks it there.

When catching tropical wingtails in Tlati Rainforest, it will just let them sit there in the trap without collecting.

Thanks for letting me know. Since my changes are still not published i fixed the issue for collecting and setting traps in unreachable spots. The issue about "setting more traps then allowed" what hunter lvl are u and what was the current rumour?
It is also attempting to set more traps then my level allows causing it to get stuck in a loop.

Now doing Horned graahk, it gets stuck trying to cut trees outside tail bwo wannai. I don't have the quest completed, but it isn't trying to open the gate even. It gets stuck a lot.

It was tropical wagtail. My level is 48.
