I may have fucked up. I was not going to appeal, given my experience with Jagex appeals going unanswered for years. But it seems their S.O.Ps have improved.

For some reason I thought this was my first offense on this account. However, I have just realized it was a different account than I thought. Quite the streak of offenses. About a dozen for offensive language from 2008-2011, bot busting from 2013 and macro major from 2015. Although the macro major was Quashed.


I’m assuming it’ll either be closed a week after the ban is lifted due to such a short ban. (Ie closed before a j-mod gets to skimming it and sending canned response.)

But should I be worried that the appeal triggers manual review who then makes it Permanent due to the history of offenses? I hope not— that account has 6 4-letter accounts.

Haha, thanks for the reply! Good!! I didn't think it would, til I asked AI and it spat that out as a scenario lmao. I appreciate the reponse. Do you happen to know if they still do "rollbacks" on accounts that bot? I've been playing for 18~ years, but haven't played since maybe 2021-2022. They used to occasionally "roll back" levels gained when/if an account was caught botting.
