Doesn't handle making new bonfires.

Hi, thanks for taking your time reaching out to me. It should absolutely make new bonfires if the bonfire runs out or you're returning from a break.

I'd be interested in resolving this issue. If you'd be willing to share the logs of your session (either trough Discord or DM) I can have a look at what went wrong.
