Correct, high level alching is used. Not sure why you would want to use low level alching instead. It's more gp loss and less XP/hr.

Did you follow all of the directions from the overview (apart from just the spell filtering)? Like disabling collapsible panes in resizable and such. The bot shouldn't depend on either spell filtering or fixed mode. Also how far zoomed in are you? Try zooming out. I tested it and am still...
