Plenty of people using it without any issues. And yes you can turn off spec in the UI. :)

The author has to update their bot in order for it to work again. I suggest reaching out to @serene to see if he can update his bots.

You can try and contact Arbiter but I am not sure what will come out of that. When the option becomes available I can send you the credits, but right now it is impossible for me to do.

Sadly, bot authors are (currently) unable to send credits to other users. This was a recent change and I have no idea when/if it will be changed. Sorry about this, but it is beyond my control.
