OSRS Howmany OSRS instances per RM client?

Currently I am running 6-8 OSRS instances on a single RM client. Someone told me before that it's not smart to do this, and advised me to use multiple RM clients. He said it had to do with the amount of RAM allocated to the a single RM client which could cause performance issues when running many bots at the same time. I'm not sure about this, can anyone confirm?
