I'm sorry if this has already been asked, but i've search trough the forums and found nothing.

So i found out bots only work if i have only the Java Client Version (1.2.7) Installed. But when i playing myself, i wish i could have the newer client (2.2.4) installed too, since it runs a lot smoothier. Are there any workarounds for this?

Yes, you can have both the NXT and Java based clients installed when playing RS3.

You shouldn't have any issues with RuneMate launching the correct Java based RS3 client itself, but if you do, launch the Java client manually then select it manually within RuneMate when you are starting a session.
