Hey so I was thinking to start botting on dedicated server to run multiple instances of bots.
However I need to know if it's safe to buy a dedicated server with specs:

• Intel Core i7-3770
• 16 gigs of DDR3 memory
• Unlimited traffic/bandwidth

will it work using linux? if so how many bots can I run? Thanks in advance.

A server like that should be fine to run multiple RuneScape clients. The amount of bots you are able to run at once will depend on your RuneMate account type. Free users can only run a maximum of two instances concurrently, whereas supporters can run an instance for every dollar over the $3.00 supporter base; eg: $5.00 supporter = 5 accounts at once.

Yes RuneMate works on Linux, however isn't as user friendly as running RuneMate on Windows.

If you haven't set up a dedicated VPS before, you may struggle, depending on the provisioning methods used by your supplier.
