everything was running smooth for months and even on my other macbook, its just on this laptop im on right now when i click to open RM it closes out right away, sometimes i get a message thats says runemate cannot be opened

reinstalled and updated the macbook but nothing changed

please help!

Did you change the system settings to allow apps downloaded from untrusted source to be opened? Perhaps the java needs updating. Otherwise, could you post screenshots of what's happening?

updated Java, still closes out right away when trying to open. My settings for allowing stuff to be opened is set to "anywhere"

i dont know whats wrong lol, about to get a external hd and reset the whole macbook

I had the same problem. I did update java, reinstalled rune mate and it worked again

also on my windows laptop, runemate loads and opens rs3 client but cannot detect the client for the handshake, it even prompts me to download the legacy client which i already have.

know the problem there?
