-- like 80% of all new users have no clue how the hours system works
-- punishes supporters because after their subscription dies they end up with negative hours
-- the limiting factor for most users is hours and it's beyond annoying when you reach the limit
-- people who bot "unevenly" (= lots of hours on one day, few on others) are punished because they're forced to follow the same botting "schedule"

My proposal is to just restrict accounts based on the max number of bots they can be running at any time and then charge more for each concurrent bot "slot" (maybe like 5 bucks a month each) past the free 2 slots.

-- still allows for scalable profit from goldfarmers
-- no more people asking "why no hours" "how hours works" "im supporter but no hours bot sucks xd"
-- people can bot without constantly looking at that fat limit

I don't think I agree with the $x per slot thing, because that basically rewards people who suicide bot/suicide goldfarm, which is an abusive (and annoying) way to bot.

Just make it $1 per 100 hours flat cost, the 100 hours last for a month before expiring. They don't go into negative, you just don't have that 100 hours anymore after they're used up or expire. Free 200 hours are on everyone's account and act the same as they do now. This is how most newbies think the system works anyway.

If you're worried about the extra $2 a month lost from "minimum supporter cost" just up the cost to $1.20 per 100 hours or something. Your purchased hours should drain before free hours, and free hours regenerate exactly how they do now.

I agree with this. Making it "Pay X for X hours", makes it so much easier to understand. They shouldn't expire at all after 30 days in my opinion. Someone pays $10/12, they should get an additional 1k hours. As soon as the free 200 hours are used up, it starts draining that pool.

Idk how much rework it would be on the back-end though. Probably need to overhaul the entire system. Plus testing is hard with the multiple integrations. Don't think we'll see a change soon.

What??? Then just make it cost 7 dollars, that's how many hours you would get in a month for a suicide bot anyway.

OP's suggestion of unlimited hours will never happen. The other related suggestions are decent and are already being considered for the next iteration.

I agree with the above. Hours shouldnt be unlimited. This is one of the best botting clients I have come across. What should be implemented though is the $x to x hours. Once you use them they are gone, but you should be able to use them until they are gone: they dont expire after 30 days.

I think it's be much easier just to implement $x / 100 hours with no expiry. Not only would it be simpler because you wouldn't need to worry about your hours expiring but people would be able to load up their accounts and just bot without worry.

I know this post is 2 years old, but bots randomly stop all the time which makes you loose 0.01c per hour + the cost of the premium script bot goes from 0.03-0.2, to solve this billing should be done in 5 minute segments, so if your script bot ramdomly stops for no reason you dont get charged for 1 full extra hour but charged for the 5 minutes segment, this would make billing much more fair because rm is by far the most expensive client to use out there(that is not private)
