Hello guys, Is the ban rate for fishing on OSRS very high? i want to get 85+ fishing. I thought i better ask it first before going insane with RuneMate Thanks in advance.
Depends on how you bot it. In my experience with fishing, powerfishing trout/salmon or barbarian fishing are very low banrates, while gold-producing methods such as lobsters/sharks are significantly higher, but still much lower than something like chinchompas. Never done monkfish so I can't speak to those, but personally I would do a max of 5h/day powerfishing or doing monkfish.
I'd like to point out that my recommendations aren't guaranteed ways to avoid getting banned while botting. There is always a risk, even if you only bot for 10 minutes. It's just a collection of my personal experiences and observations on what others have gotten away with.
I bot fishing in the fishing guild (sharks) as often as possible. Meaning if i can make sure the bot is running, its running. typically these bots dont like to run over night for whatever reason (maybe its my computers fault? not sure). But each individual is different. You might get banned within 5 minutes, who knows. Sudofisher is definitely the best fishing bot on runemate in my opinion. Celestial sucks.
