Been using runemate for about a week or so now, last nigth had the rest of my bank wiped, luckily sold most if it off before logging off so they only ended up getting my 150ish mil set. Did not click on any scam sites. Did not log into any scam sites. Only happened after using runemate, beware. Got a week out of it but no point using this service anymore because clearly its just gonna lead to you getting hacked and wiped unfortunately.

You're wrong for coming to that conclusion, been here 9 years and have had BILLIONS across several accounts, not once did i get wiped.

You have poor OPSEC and clicked something you shouldn't have.

Runemate wouldn't risk its reputation for the measly $30 you had on your acc

well i can guarantee i sure as shit havnt clicked on/logged into any fake sites. First time ive ever had my account compromised, 2 factor auth, bank pin. This is the only thing that has had any sort of information that could have compromised my account. So you tell me how on earth someone else wouldve gotten into it?

I know this doesn't help, but I genuinely trust Runemate's account integrity more than Jagex. I mean, Jagex had that staff member logging in and stealing from accounts, Runemate hasn't.

There's lots of potential ways your account could have been stolen that weren't Runemate. Phishing, fake ads, malware, keylogger, incorrect runelite, someone looking over your shoulder, reused passwords, etc etc.

Having 2FA on an account and still losing access to the account is a sign that the phish also prompted you for the 2FA pin. The phishes these days are sophisticated enough to take your user+pass, present a fake OTP menu, take that OTP then automate a real login using that same OTP and change the details to their own

Hypothetically, if we assume RM was compromised and the actor was able to take your username+password, then we can assume when they login Jagex would prompt them for the authenticator. Nowhere in RuneMate does it ever ask for the OTP, that is tied directly to the Jagex Launcher or the website. RuneMate doesn't have context of either, it only has context of the RuneLite window

Just from an author point of view, we aren't able to grab your details if we tried - let alone get past the admins approving our code to do that

If you dont believe them, then why not go learn some coding and read the code on the scripts you ran? The most likely thing that happened is you bought an infernal, firecape, quests etc from someone and they linked their apple, google, or other 3rd party account to it. If so, they could wait months, perhaps even years to log back on through that platform and not need any verification code to do so.

99.9% of the people who actually get their accounts wiped are people that dont know what legitimate sites to use and trust people offering 1/2 the price of RPGSTASH (or other well trusted sites) to save some pocket change, only to find out that they had a link to their account the entire time. If I were you, Id go check all the linked accounts and stop falsely accusing these devs.

Ive been using RM for YEARS and had over 200B at one point, and never did my account get touched.
