worked for salamanders fine, however doesnt work for falconry. will get the falcon from the npc and then proceeds to stand still - in the bot it still says 'getting falcon from matt'
Hi, a few people have reported a similar sounding issue, so it's not just you. But I've tried it on my end multiple times and haven't been able to reproduce the issue.
Either way I'll keep looking into it and try to get it fixed soon
I have had great success with this bot. One recommendation I would have for salamanders is when I am carrying an extra rope and net in my inv that the bot would set fix a new trap before picking up the net and rope on the ground. That's how I do it when playing
I can definitely see the appeal of that strategy, though my only thought on it is that I think it's a bit of a less common strategy and I'd wonder if that might look suspicious for a lot of bots to suddenly start doing it. Suppose I could make it a toggle maybe, will think about it. Thanks for the feedback!
used it on 2 accounts now for long periods of time and have had no problems, great script, only thing i dislike is when burying bones at falconry it shift drops the fur then burys the bone. would look more human like if it buried all bones then dropped all furs. other then that, love it
I do understand and agree this is kinda off behavior. I think the logic was to bury bones while dropping to reduce idle time, but it's kinda weird to do. I'll add it to my todo list and try to smooth it out.
Glad it's working well overall, and I appreciate the kind words :)
There isn't currently any way for the bot to bank dashing kebbit meat, primarily because there's really no banks anywhere close & lots of accounts would want to use lots of different banking methods. You can semi manually babysit the bot and pause/bank meats/teleport back if you like, though of course that isn't ideal.
But yeah, no way for the bot to do this currently.
I ran the script over night and got a 2 day ban. I was at red salamanders so perhaps it was just too crowded of an area. The bot works great. Im torn because I still would love to use cuppa bots but now im scared of a perma ban since i already got my slap on the wrist. wonder what I did wrong?
I'm sorry to hear it, but unfortunately there's not a ton of advice I can give here. Jagex is quite inconsistent and that risk always exists.
The usual advice is to bot hours someone might play and try to switch it up (so botting salamanders overnight is not quite human behaviour) but at the same time people definitely do get away with non human botting; It just takes luck.
Personally I don't recommend botting temp banned accounts as jagex seems to watch them closer.
so in regards to this bot, absolutely amazing BUT my advice, do not use this bot for hunting Salamanders or Red Chinchompers, use anything else and you wont get banned, its usually the ones that give the best xp jagex picks up on, thanks cuppa for a great bot, no bans for me and usually use this overnight for around 6 - 10 hours :)
The bot is good once it's working but it has a big reocurring problem. At the 5 minutes mark, it just logs off the account, and then refuses to do anything, even when i reset the coordinates.
New profile, without touching the computer in the slightest, it just dies by itself. This happened many times while i used it, and i had to set it up again, hoping it would work in the next time, it was like gambling lol.
Contrary to what the guy below me said, I did this one with red salamanders and black salamanders until Hunting 70 without having any issues. Made the grind bearable. Good stuff.
Bot runs great with no issues. Got 80-99 hunting in less than a week running this bot for 6 hours at a time (with breaks) twice a day at red chins. Also made over 50M
Time to give a review, this bot runs so fine. Cuppa scripts work great and the hunter one does the job perfectly. I am very happy with the results so far as i havent been banned yet!
Bot works, but i distinctly remember that it used to world-hop if it detected a player nearby. It no longer does that and i there is no setting to enable this. Chances of getting reported go up if you have players nearby trying to talk to you and you don't respond while doing a very non-afk skill.
Hey, I just checked the previous UI and I'm fairly certain there was never a toggle for this. It's just behavior that'll happen automatically, and it should still happen now.
Eg for chinchompas it'll hop if it ever gets the "this isn't your trap" message, similar with a few others like birds. I think falconry has it hop if another player is nearby automatically.
If any issues persist please dm me more info. But it should all be the same as before, by what I can tell.
Either way I'll keep looking into it and try to get it fixed soon
