This is absolutely not perfect like many claim, it is written very well like all cuppa bots, but this time certainly not perfect. To start with, the bot repairs the water wheel if its not flowing and the bag is full, by grabbing a hammer running around and fixing ONLY ONE wheel, dropping the hammer and continuing. HUGE red flag. Who bothers to do all that and only fix one wheel ? Trying to bot upstairs gets other players attention because the bot doesn't mine under people and uses up all the rocks, defeating the purpose of the upstairs area and red flagging you once you don't respond to people flaming you. Last but not least, mining in the Lower South East section, the bot gets stuck at one of the rocks that you mine through. it just sits there, continuously mining the rock as it falls. Running it for more than 2 hours is an absolute risk. I had ran it for 2hrs a night, 2 nights in a row and the third night i tried for 3hr and i believe the bot got stuck at the rock closest to the bank chest and someone saw it and hit the report. Until these issues are fixed, tread carefully.
This is a bit of a long response but I want to be clear I do value this feedback, and I'm not trying to make excuses or sound defensive or anything, I just have a habit of overthinking and over-explaining this kind of stuff :P
But just to address your feedback:
- the bot does only repair one wheel, but this is intentional as the bot is just doing the minimum required to get the ore moving without wasting time. I don't really see this as a flaw tbh. You can also use the worldhop option if you think this behavior is odd.
- I partially agree that the mining upstairs could be improved, but I disagree that constantly mining under other players is the answer. Keep in mind that some people run the bot for many hours at once, and a real player would not consistently do the extra effort of keeping track of other players in the area and only mine under them. Also some players don't realise how the upstairs area works, and I think consistently chasing down other players is just as likely to weird out legit players. As you might know, the bot currently avoids players downstairs but essentially ignores them upstairs. When upstairs it just mines whichever is "easiest" regardless of other players (with randomization), which I think is what players would do when afk mining long sessions.
- Your last point about the lower south east section is entirely fair and a flaw I have attempted to fix in the past, and tbh I thought I fixed but apparently not. This is a bit of a lame response but I'd just recommend using the west location downstairs, as it's the most consistent. But I'll take another look at this issue.
Again, I do appreciate the feedback either way.
