First time ever banned was using Runemate. Typically I make my own scripts and let them run for hours without any issue for over 15 years. Used runemate for one day for a couple hours with purchased scripts and got a lovely:

"Account temporarily banned for macroing in OldSchool. Our macro detection system has been monitoring your account closely and has detected that you are using illegal 3rd party software which violates the rules of the game and breaches your terms of service with Jagex. Our team have reviewed the evidence and can confirm that you were using illegal botting software. Jagex are able to accurately detect all illegal 3rd party software and any promises from their makers about being 'totally undetectable' or 'no ban guaranteed' are inaccurate. As such your account has been temporarily removed from the game. Please take this time to familiarise yourself with the rules."

Not using runemate anymore. You shouldn't either!

You cheated on a video game, which is against the video game publisher's rules. You accepted the risk you could be banned when you chose to cheat.

I'd wager that your chance of being banned was equal or higher even if using a different botting programme.

I tested the theory again, and it's better people just DO NOT USE CLIENTS SUCH AS RUNEMATE or ANY THIRD PARTY CLIENT. Learn to make your own scripts.

My scripts - 100% undetected, can run for hours and hours and hours and hours.

Ran runemate client last night for an hour. Banned on alt account. Lol.

It is not anything, BUT THE CLIENT. Not the users, not the scripts. The client.

The client is detected. Nothing else.

Hope this helps anyone who reads this. Advertised like it's fool proof, it's the users control bla bla bla. No, it is not. It is the client, every time. Gave it a second shot. Won't be given a third.

If your scipts are so good and undetected why use runemate? The reason the client is needed is for more complex bots that I doubt your scripts can do. And the mods response is valid, if you're smart you know going into any botting you may get banned and no bot is undetectable
