Not sure if this is a new problem or not but currently it walks 1 tile away when the brazier is both about to break or extinguish even though the extinguish attack does no damage.

Programatically you cannot make a distinction between the brazier going out and breaking, so this is sadly something I cannot change at the moment.

Just a fyi, was temp banned today after 3 hrs of use and it was my first and only bot used on the account. Had enable fatigue, and occasionally go AFK on.

Bans are delayed up to weeks, so this is impossible. Your IP is flagged from another occasion and that is what got you banned.

If you catch a ban it's usually a good idea to delete your jagexcache. You can find the appropriate files at %UserProfile%/jagexcache and %UserProfile%/.runelite/jagexcache.

Bro what are you on it's 100% possible to catch a ban after 3 hours just like it's possible for you to fix the walk back that makes it blatantly obvious to anyone watching that you're running a bot.

Sorry to hear about your ban. Have a wonderful day.

I'm not the one who got banned. Just saying you shouldn't lie to the guy and say it's not possible for a ban after his 3 hours of use.
You are right, you are not the one who got banned. That was my mistake.

Ban delays are real. Jagex rarely bans bots immediately. Even when detection is obvious (it's not for RuneMate). Most bans are delayed and handed out in waves, sometimes days or even weeks later. Getting banned “after 3 hours” of your first session is nearly always due to flagged IPs, or previous account behavior (like logging in from a farmed or previously botted machine).

The bot never gets any ban reports. That alone should tell you the problem was not the bot. Thousands of hours of runtime, zero bans. You don't become an exception after just 3 hours unless something else is wrong on your end (or his end).

Regarding the walk back issue, it has been acknowledged. However, Jagex is not manually watching your gameplay and handing out bans. Their systems are automated, and suble pathing quirks are not going to triger anything that quickly, especially not on a script with an almost spotless record.

This is not a bot issue. If it was, we would be seeing tons of ban reports. We are not.

Nothing suspicious was done on this account prior to this. It was a fresh ironman (~1 week), and the last time I played at all was years ago on a completely different character. I downloaded and installed RuneMate for the first time the same day I botted — no other tools, scripts, or bots were ever used on this or any other character linked to my account.

This was the only script I ran, and I’m not saying it’s necessarily the script’s fault. It could very well be that Jagex flagged RuneMate itself (although you say that's unlikely), or my setup somehow. Just wanted to share my experience here as a datapoint in case it's helpful.

Thanks for the additional context. I think it is important to note that even if your last time botting was years ago (note: if), Jagex is known to retain data for a long time. Accounts, IPs and other identifiers can remain flagged for years from what I understand, and any new activity, even on a new account, can trigger an almost immediate ban if tied to that same data. So when I say "flagged", it does not always mean something very recent, it can stem from years ago.

RuneMate itself is not currently flagged, neither is the bot, or we would see widespread and consistent bans across all users, so that is the good news. I think this is just a very unfortunate edge case or a combination of very unique circumstances on your end. I do appreciate the feedback though, as I am always looking to improve our software. I just wanted to avoid jumping to conclusions (like the other person) when the evidence overwhelmingly suggests the platform and the bot are operating at expected levels for the vast majority of users.

Let me know if you have any questions, happy to help!
