Is it safe to play legitimately in between long botting sessions (8-9 hours) or is it safer to just log off for say, 4-6 hours?

Playing yourself doesn't create any additional patterns so it shouldn't matter. But you also have to think about for how long a legitimate player would play, maybe 10 hours per day is pretty steep.

There is a significant change in the way I play and the way the bots play. Noticeable difference in mouse movements and camera movements. How difficult is it for bot detection to create a graph for mouse movements and analyse it?

But still I do think it's a must to play legitly on the account along with botting. Ultimately, most players bot to get the grind out of the game. So I do play to enjoy the spoils.
