First of all direct input is amazing, I assume it makes everyone’s botting experience easier/better, players and developers alike.
However, I am concerned that this type of input is detectable.
Logs are common in game development, I’m assuming Jagex log what goes on in each individual character and if Jagex manually investigated an account, they’d see inhuman reaction times (I.e swapping a full set of gear on the same time stamp)
I understand that past evidence doesn’t exactly support the fact that DI increases ban rate, and any correlation would be circumstantial at best, I’m not here to talk about bans.
Im seeking further understand of how DI works, is it sending packets to perform certain actions? It makes me question why wouldn’t Jagex take action against something they should be able to detect automatically.
Apologies if you find this post unhelpful or idiotic, I’m just trying to understand DI and its implications better
