Bug Downloading the client on Mac

Download it? Yes you can download it by going here.
Run it? That's another story. When trying to open the .app after it being installed, nothing occurs. If you try to run it via CLI (terminal) then this error comes up:
What you can do instead, is download the standalone version, the right-most download. That one runs, but with the downside that it can't automatically update and you'll have the download it everytime there's an update.
Either way, when you run the .jar and try to start a bot, this error comes up now:
I've been trying to write bots but I'm not able to due to the last error. I don't feel like using a VM with Windows either.
