    Frost dragon - OSRS Wiki

    Frost dragons are a type of adult dragon located in the dungeon on the island of Grimstone, requiring 87 Sailing to access. To be assigned as a slayer task, players also require 85 combat level. Once players have moored on the island at least once, it can also be accessed via fairy ring code DLP.

  • Summary: Bank through POH, fairy ring through POH, climb to dragons - safe spot with mage (no supplies necessary) or fight with melee (prayer pots + antifires needed). Loot alchables, stackables, superior dragon bones and dragon nails/metal sheets.
  • (100% weakness to fire spells - fire surge with tome of fire + dragonhunter wand = 77s)
  • Safe spotting can be indefinite trip. After 5-10 mins it becomes a lot easier when dragons are no longer aggro.


  • Required stats: 87 sailing
  • Required quests: Pandemonium
  • Required items: runes for fire surge and high alchemy, POH with fairy ring and jewellery box/spirit tree.
  • Other notes: The current money per hour is around 15-20m.

Would be so great to get this.

If you have an account with 87 Sailing that you feel comfortable lending me for the duration of this bots creation, I could make this :)

wiki says max of 2.5m per hour when you're on task, and less if you're off task, so i dont think its 15-20m per hour but im happy to be proven wrong

Sorry I thought I had replied to this!

I would have happily lent you the account at the time but the wiki gp/hr is probably accurate now.
I was at frost dragons in week 2 of sailing, one of the first 5,000 who could even get there so prices were madly inflated. 15-20m/hr was very conservative tbh, on that week I was making closer to 40-50m/hour at times, A dragon nail drop would have been 6-9m, a metal sheet 10-15m and you were getting at least two nail drops an hour and two metal sheets an hour on average,
I would have happily lent my account at the time but I'm not sure it's worth it anymore.
