Hello. i was able to set up proxifier and everything. But my question is how can i set it up so my proxies only work for runemate clients and not runelite
(edit, I didn't read that someone had answered this with a link) create duplicates of the osrs launcher ie. C:\Users\Dickhead\jagexcache\jagexlauncher\bin\JagexLauncher1.exe oldschool bin\JagexLauncher.exe is the original one. I made a duplicate of the client and assigned the proxy to it. now every account that uses this launcher, will log into runescape with that IP. If you have other accounts, you want on other IPs, simply duplicate more osrs launchers and assign IP's to them.
Could I start using a proxy from now on, even though I haven't been thus far? Like will Jagex just look back a few IP's and ban the one that has been consistent with this account?
I guess so, people move countries all the time and resume playing games, nothing changes but the IP. I personally wouldn't though.
Do I need to keep proxifier open for my clients to be using that proxy I have entered into the program, or can I close the program as soon as I enter th information.
Does the location of the proxy matter? Is it better to use a different vpn country location to my real location? E.g if I live in Germany, use USA, or France if i'm in Australia etc. Also, is bestproxyandvpn still good or are there cheaper alternatives? only need for 1 account.
Hello! So I purchased 6 proxies from BESTPROXYANDVPN, Ipv4 proxies, but when I add the proxies to Proxifier they only work as HTTP and not Sock5 or sock4. I didn't see an option to buy sock proxies except for a label which indicates the proxies bought to be 'https/sock' will I have any problems going forward, with HTTP proxies? Thank you! -De_winged
Hi you can only use sock proxies.since it indicates https/sock,there is probably a option on their site to change the proxies from http to sock. Have fun botting.
