Lag since today's update

So my client wanted to update about a hour or so ago so I did, then it said it needed to restart my computer. I went along with it, everything went fine and I reopened runemate and osrs, logged in on both and at this point everything was running perfectly smooth like always does, but when I began a script osrs instantly went into old movie mode and was knoy showing 1 frame every like 2 3 seconds, as soon as I stop the script it goes back to normal. I've never had this issue before, i usually run two bots at once as well as watch Netflix or YouTube and even then I never have this issue. I've tried restarting my computer numerous times as well as uninstalling runemate 3 times and even osrs itself 2 times. Nothings getting me anywhere though it's still laggy as all hell. If anyone can help me out plz let me know. Like I said this began after runemate said it needed to update a lil over a hour ago and then needed to restart my computer.

Thank you @Cloud I can confirm CPU usage is better in the latest update. I no longer receive 3rd degree burns when touching my laptop's keyboard
