People usually make it free in the beginning to filter out the bugs because it gets exposed to more people that way who can provide bug reports.

Since sandcrabs is a very popular method, and also heavily populated, I think the best idea is to make it premium. This way it doesn't get overcrowded. Plus, 8 cents per hour is jack-shit.
