edit: Also sorry if this is in the wrong area, its my first post and not sure where to put it.

Hey everyone, I joined this community about a month ago. After being banned on my GIM by Jagex for “RWT – Goldfarmer,” I’ve decided to put my technical skills to use and explore creating a bot farm. Honestly, I’m not sure where to begin, but up to now I’ve been experimenting with botting HCIM accounts and leveling them with the idea of eventually selling them. Since I was falsely banned for goldfarming/RWT and received nothing but copy-paste responses from the 30+ support tickets I submitted, I figured I might as well actually give goldfarming a try.

I also have my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Cybersecurity, so I’m confident I can handle the technical side of building and managing a botting setup.

I’ve been playing RuneScape since the early days. Over the years, I botted here and there to progress my own accounts but never did RWT beyond occasionally buying some gold for myself to PK with (and usually lose not long after). To be banned nearly 20 years later for RWT, labeled a goldfarmer, and then have every appeal dismissed without being read was frustrating enough to push me toward actually pursuing it.

I’m not trying to make a fortune with this, but I’d at least like to recover some value for the time I invested into the GIM account that was banned.

Right now, I have a Proxmox server running with the following specs:
  • 16 × AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX with Radeon Graphics
  • Two 2 TB SSDs
  • One 1 TB HDD
  • 62 GB of RAM
Here are my stats from when i was banned:

you’re wasting your time gold farming if you live in a first world country

the amount of energy and time it consumes is not worth the 10 cents a mill you can sell at

account building is not worth, it’s too saturated with people who have more reputation and will aggressively price you out of the market

runemate is not designed to be gold farmed on at scale

Ah fair enough. Thanks for the heads up.
