So I managed to install Sceptre perfectly fine, now im just confused on the client. There is no official OSRS client, and OSBuddy isn't supported.

So should I run the OSRS client through Wine? Or is there another way?

Edit: I installed the alternative linux client given by Jagex. It's working. But the Bot client is not. When I press start, the spinny thing pops up and nothing.

If it's any help, I can confirm that RuneMate has worked on Ubuntu using the RSU-Client for me previously.

As @Party said, upload your log files so they can be reviewed here.

Can you try adding the JRE that's bundled with RuneMate to your PATH variable?
