Everytime I try and run a bot I get a "IOexception occured when trying to establish bot handshake" what could be the problem? I tryed reinstalling runemate

Same, it started happening after Runescape servers were brought down for maintenance.

I got the same problem too. I was playing Runescape and system update was showing in the left corner. after that runemate wouldn't connect anymore.

I'd give it a couple of hours for all RuneMate issues to be resolved; RuneScape updated this morning (as it does every Thursday) and tonight (6pm UK time) the game was taken down to apply a last-minute feature (toggle); RuneMate developers need time to sort out the client, you should be up and running in a couple of hours, go and enjoy some wind outside.
