Hello! So im trying to start running my bots on my Linux server. I have got everything up and running to the point where I can open Runemate and sign in just fine. However after its does the loading game normally where Runescape would start the all the "package" updating stuff this is what I get. And I have no idea what is going on here or how to fix it lol

iirc it's to do with the graphical interface you installed (I don't use linux so i don't know the correct terms). @Arbiter knows the details.

The desktop environment you are using is likely the issue. If you followed a basic VNC tutorial you found on Google then you likely have XFCE. We do not support XFCE for a number of reasons which can be summed up succinctly as "it's shitty." We support Unity (stock) on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS as well as stock desktop environments on latest long term support versions of Debian and CentOS. Additionally our unofficial support will grow substantially with the release of Spectre, but keep in mind we will not provide official support for anything except for Ubuntu, Debian, and CentOS LTS versions in the foreseeable future.

tl;dr use a supported distro, version and desktop environment configuration or wait for Spectre and hope your unsupported configuration works, but don't expect support if it doesn't.

Well the server is running Ubuntu 14.04 LTS... I can get everything up and running, launch it, it even shows the loading game part, but as soon as it gets to the point where it would start the package updating thats when that shit happens.

    Unity (default):

    XFCE:

If you confirm that your desktop environment looks very similar to the top one we can continue trying to resolve your issue.

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be possible, though I'm not familiar with the process.

I don't know what desktop environment that is, so I can't say.
