As with a lot of other people on the forums, I am now also getting the 'AgentInitialization' Exception. This is what it prints every time in the logs;

WARNING: Could not open/create prefs root node Software\JavaSoft\Prefs at root 0x80000002. Windows RegCreateKeyEx(...) returned error code 5.

This one only came up once.

Has anyone found a fix for this yet? I have tried changing Java Version and running in administrator mode, however, nothing has worked so far. Any help on this is appreciated.

Yea randomly started happening to me too just now. Was working earlier today and now it doesn't work at all.

yes! @Arbiter please chime in here. It fixed itself on my laptop...but still getting the same issue on the desktop computer.

So it was working for your desktop and randomly started having issues?

It wasn't working on either the desktop or laptop...and then all of a sudden rectified itself on the laptop lol

I HAVE FOUND A FIX. Right click runemate and click properties and go to compatability and check box for run as admin and put comptability mode on Windows XP Service pack 3 runemate worked on both my computers after this fix

Tried that...still doesn't work. Thanks for the tip though.

RuneMate and the game client need to both run on x32 bit Java. Remove any x64 bit Java installations and RuneMate, and then install RuneMate again – it will automatically download the correct x32 bit Java version.
