Joined runemate a few days ago, client is infected with crypto?
I usually check md5/sha sums, but unless im mistaken, runemate doesn't offer checksums with the downloads?
Encrypting my files and holding them for ransom?
Oh, okay. carry on.
No, but seriously. I assume you are trying to say that the client somehow is supposed to encrypt files for some sort of reason?
are you saying its a false positive?
The client encrypts your user information, and some other runescape info about your accounts. It is locally encrypted before being sent to runemate servers
Don't worry you're only the 20485th person to ask if the client is infected or not and I'll say that thousands use it so yeah.
Runemate is completely safe man. It encrypts the data sent and received.
